Homeless in the apocalypse because I threw away all those zip ties!
I had this crazy dream there were all zip ties connected to rubber bands
and twisty ties, and I like just chopped them up and threw 'em away
While, in the meantime, my wife and son gently and carefully separated
them and put them neatly into little baggies and placed them in drawers
At the same time, she takes my mess out of the trash and says, "Aw
Honey! Why'd you throw away all these zip ties? What if it's the end of the world and we need them to build a house or like a shelter or something?"
and of coarse my son is like, "Ahhh DAD! Come on Dude!"we're gonna be
Homeless in the apocalypse because I threw away all those zip ties!
Meanwhile, I'm feeling all isolated and alienated while we try to get some sleep on these sand dunes under some trees. My wife is telling my son one of those stories I've heard a million times about her dog Dinny...
I'm all tired and trying to kinda push and smooth the sand on my dune
but, the radio is too loud! It's a commercial for the military thanking some rich people for donating to an elite branch of the special forces
Then I notice my dune is now a big pile of books and magazines, and I try to decide what I'm going to read...
but just then the dog starts having one of those snorting fits and wakes me up... and I had this song in my head when I woke up!
